Michigan
State (-5)
@ Purdue - Michigan State won big last week while the
Boilermakers of Purdue stumbled to a 2-6 record, their
worst in sometime. Look for each team to continue with
their week 9 performance, an outcome that will look
similar to a Washington Husky - USC game. Can anyone
say landslide? The linesmakers fumbled the snap on this
one.
Minnesota
(-13) @ Indiana - The Golden Gophers will handle
the Hoosiers in Indiana. The Hoosiers have a good young
nucleus, but Laurence Marooney will have his way with
a sub par Indiana defensive unit. After a tough loss
to the ever-charging Buckeyes the Gophers will find
their winning ways in week 10.
Toledo
(-11) @ Ohio - The Rockets will be up for a tussle
coming off a big loss to Central Michigan last week.
Look for Toledo to chew Ohio up and spit them out to
the tune of at least 40 points in a lopsided victory.
Wake
Forest (+8) @ Georgia Tech - Georgia Tech has been
walking into games with a swagger they don't deserve.
They'll learn their lesson when Wake comes in with an
upset in Georgia. Tech could only manage 10 points in
a one point win against Clemson in week 9. They won't
do it at home against the Demon Deacons.
Duke
(+31) @ Clemson - The oddsmakers must be slamming
their heads into walls left and right. The Tigers of
Clemson have only scored more than 31 points once all
year. I know Duke is bad, believe me, I make a note
of paying attention to every single Duke loss, but 31
points is even too much for my Blue Devil hating taste.
Look for Duke to, yes- lose again, but they'll cover
the spread, there's no doubt in my mind!
Texas
A&M @ Texas Tech (-17) - Texas Tech shall
dominate this match-up. Tech is a solid, offensively
explosive machine while A&M is what? The 8th best
school in Texas. Exactly. No-brainer.
Tennessee
(+8.5) @ Notre Dame - Notre Dame has played pretty
well, but Tennesee has upset all over their minds coming
in to play Notre Dame at home. I like the Irish squad,
they play with toughness and confidence, and if it weren't
for a lucky fumble by USC's Matt Leinart, they would
have upset the kings. But this week, they'll find 8.5
points too many to cover.
Texas
(-28) @ Baylor - Texas will absolutely obliterate
Baylor. 28 points will be had after 1.5 quarters of
football, and a 40-point victory will be on the horizon.
Take the Longhorns to continue on their National Championship
voyage.
Oregon
State (-3) @ Washington - The Huskies are still
the Pac-10's worst team. Oregon State isn't much better,
but they're much better than 3 points better than the
Dawgs. UW was kicked around like road kill last week.
This week won't be as violent. But the outcome will
be the same.
Miami
@ Virginia Tech (-6) - Virginia Tech is better
than Miami. Marcus Vick will do what his brother couldn't
do, by taking down the Hurricanes. Virginia Tech will
make a mighty push for the National Championship game
with a big win against Miami
but will it be enough?
UCLA
(-9) @ Arizona - After barely making it past the
Huskies, the Cougars, and the Bears, the Bruins will
show they can still dominate by slashing up the Wildcats
in Arizona. Big deal? Yeah, I don't think much of a
win over the Wildcats either. Bruins at 9-0? You betcha!
