Angry Jeff Van Gundy's stupid thoughts...

FYI: Rockets coach Jeff Van Gundy doesn't think players on losing teams should make the All Star Game. Houston (16-29) has the worst record in the Western Conference.

"One of the things I really do believe is -- and it would've affected our two guys this year, so it wouldn't have been good -- I don't believe anybody on sub-.500 teams should be in the All-Star game," Van Gundy said. "It should be all a reward for winning. Now that would affect our guys which, I'm glad no one took my advice for this year."

Isn’t that what the playoffs are for? Jeff is obviously one of those morons that needs to change things all the time. You know, he want to be the guy that decides stuff. That’s why his players can’t stand him, and he’ll never have a Championship team. He struggles to do what works, or alter his coaching style to fully utilize his players to their fullest potential. He needs everything to be his idea. As if great players who aren’t on winning teams aren’t snubbed enough, Van Gundy wants to completely eliminate them from a chance to showcase their ability to the rest of the world. Don’t get me wrong, the All Star game is a bit of a joke. I mean, Yao Ming isn’t very good when he starts, plus he sat out a majority of the first half of the season. He doesn’t belong on the squad. You should have to play a certain amount of games to make it. The NBA likes to say, All Star Weekend is for the fans, so they should pick the starters they’d most like to see. That’s just absurd. All Star Weekend is just as much for the All Stars as it is for anyone else. Players work their asses off to get to this game, and guys who are picked on pure popularity seem to make it regardless. The fact that the biggest China star in sports plays for the Rockets doesn’t make it okay, that Yao and his teammate, Tracy, should make the team when they’ve missed around 40 games combined. Tracy is a game changer, and he’ll always be an All Star, but Yao just happens to be 7’5” and averages less than 10 rebounds per game. He’s not an All Star starter by any means. Jeff is an idiot and his players shouldn’t be in the All Star game. The Playoffs are for teams that finish over .500, the All Star game should be for All Stars, regardless of how cheap their ownership happens to be. As long as Van Gundy stays out of the game, in person as well as his ideas, I’ll be a happy customer. In fact, I have an idea Jeff, shut your stupid ass from firing off foul smelling portions of dog shit! Thanks!
