Atlanta Falcons @ Seattle Seahawks Football Betting Preview: I’ll be at the Seahawks game on Sunday trying my best not to tell one of my best friends that “I predicted this would happen, no seriously, I know I’m being a dick after you invited me to the game and all, but I wrote this all down and published it on the site. It’s not my fault, really, I can only make my picks based on my understanding of the game, and there are few NFL teams that are a tougher match-up for the Seagulls than Atlanta is.” – It will be a tough job, but Mark’s a good man, and I’ll do my best to hold it in.

I’m excited to see Michael Turner run and Roddy White catch balls from Matt Ryan. Roddy White is really, really good, and Matty Ice just seems to have it. It is something you can see almost anywhere, but it just seems to be greater in person. I’m really not a “live NFL football” guy, I think it’s the perfect TV sport and it’s tough live – but seeing a guy with “IT” is always an experience in person. Like seeing Michael Jordan play, or Allen Iverson when he was taking a bad Sixers team to the Finals, or Joe Montana, Dan Marino, Tom Brady, Kobe Bryant, etc. – It’s always cool to see it.

Don’t get it twisted, I’m not putting Matty Ice in that “IT” category yet, I’m just saying it seems like he has “IT” and I’m excited to catch him live before everyone looks at him as one of the best. I want to see “IT” before everyone else knows he’s packing.

Anyway, I’m taking the Falcons, even in tough-road-game-Seattle, to win by a few touchdowns. They run the ball well, they pass it so efficiently I don’t think the Hawks’ secondary even has a chance, and they stop the run well. Atlanta has a better secondary than what they are ranked, and I think they’ll easily make some plays on Matty Bald-Brother Hasselbeck. Matt’s 15 interceptions this year have been killers. Take the Falcons, the should blast off in Seattle.
