Week 10 2011 Against The Spread Free Football Picks
November 13, 2011 by luckylester
Houston Texans @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+3)
The Texans have been even better than seasonal sleeper team predictors could imagine. Matt Schaub isn’t pressing at all, even with one of the best receivers in the game out for most of the season. Houston is leaning on the run heavy, and it’s worked thus far. Still, the Bucs haven’t played good football yet – at least not how I expect them to play, and I feel like it’s coming. Josh Freeman is going to be consistent for a week, Blount is going to smash some defenders, and Mike Williams is going to wake up, at least momentarily, from his sophomore slump. This week, I’m taking them!
Tennessee Titans (+3.5) @ Carolina Panthers
I don’t know for sure about either of these teams – I think they’re both overrated, but on the Titans have a decent record. It’s hard to believe that the Panthers are 2-6 I mean, they are favored by more than a field goal over a physical AFC team that hasn’t put together a rushing attack yet. That will comes soon, as in the Panthers are 32nd in the league against the run. Will Chris Johnson finally have a good day? I’m betting on it!
Arizona Cardinals (+14) @ Philadelphia Eagles
I have to take a two touchdown underdog going up against a 3-5 team – no matter who is on that team. The Eagles don’t stop the run and that’s all Arizona can do. This seems like a game that will end up being a lot closer than people think.
Denver Broncos (+3) @ Kansas City Chiefs
Tim Tebow for president… Okay, maybe that’s a little ridiculous, but I feel like he’s probably gonna approach 100 yards on the ground again, and the Chiefs were so terrible last week that I absolutely won’t bet on them again this year.
