Tennessee Titans @ Atlanta Falcons, San Diego Chargers @ Chicago Bears

Tennessee Titans (+6.5) @ Atlanta Falcons
The Tennessee Titans may have gotten their rushing attack on track the last couple weeks, either that or they just played donkey defenses – maybe both? Bottom line here is they have a defense that puts pressure on you, and the Falcons haven’t been the most consistently explosive offense in the league. Tennessee is probably sick of getting absolutely no respect despite having a respectable shot at the playoffs over half way through the season. Sure, they are a couple wins behind the Texans, but Houston lost their starting quarterback, and now their season lies in the hands of Matt Leinart, a kid that wouldn’t take 200,000 less dollars to go compete for a starting job in Seattle this year (an investment, that if realized, would have made him millions). Basically, Tennessee might be in the driver’s seat if they can pull off the upset this week. Good teams shouldn’t get a touchdown. I’ll take the points.

San Diego Chargers @ Chicago Bears (-3)
The Bears have been on point lately, and that’s probably what scares me the most here. It’s just flat out hard for me to even think about picking the Chargers with a line this tight, on the road, against a strong pass rush, without an offensive line good enough to keep Rivers off his back. Phillip has never had bad habits in the pocket, and this year he’s all over the place. A sudden change in approach? I think not – how about getting scared into bad habits? That’s probably more accurate. His receivers aren’t running very good routes (except for A. Gates and maybe Vincent Brown), his line is killing him, and defensively offenses have been doing whatever they want against San Diego. Like I said, tough not to take the Bears at home here.
