LSU Tigers @ Alabama Crimson Tide Free Week 10 NCAA Football Pick

LSU Tigers @ Alabama Crimson Tide Free Week 10 NCAA Football Pick: Here it is, the biggest game of the season – a game that will probably pit two better teams against each other than even the National Championship game. And here we get it to kick off November’s first football weekend. Brilliant! Undefeated big-time programs, check. Number 1 visiting Number 2? Check! Two coaches known for their winning ways? Check. Teams that smack you in the face and beat you with old school hard nosed offense and powerful defenses? Check. This game is a throwback, and I can’t be happier about it!
Both teams sit at 8-0 on the season. Both teams are averaging 39 points per football game while giving up fewer than two touchdowns. LSU allows just 11.5 points per game while Alabama is holding opponents just under a touchdown per game. Crazy. Nick Saban has said that his defense has a chance to be the best he’s coached. They’ll need to be good against a tough LSU attack this Saturday. LSU has beaten ranked opponent after ranked opponent this season. They’ve battled suspensions and injuries. Still unscathed, this is their toughest test yet.
I like the Crimson Tide because I believe their defense is just a little better that LSU, and offensively they might run the ball just a little more effectively. I almost went after the points, expecting a close game, but Alabama has proven to me over the years, that they play their best against the best. LSU has played better teams, but Alabama has trampled the same tough opponents. Playing at home, they get the nod, if only by a hair.
LSU Tigers @ Alabama Crimson Tide (-4.5)
