Buffalo Bills @ Dallas Cowboys Free Point Spread Pick

Buffalo Bills @ Dallas Cowboys Free Point Spread Pick: I want to take Dallas, I really do. They just aren’t a good value bet. Somehow, someway, they keep getting that sportsbook love like Philly – people just believe in these NFC East teams no matter what they do to smack them down. I’d have liked the Cowboys as a tiny favorite, playing at home, going up against a team that just got whooped, needing a win badly – even if that team had been playing better than them – like -3 would have been a tough pick for me. But now a field goal doesn’t win it. Now I expect the Bills to keep it real close against a Dallas team missing their best receiver, and probably without their leading tackler. The Bills are good, last week was more of an anomaly than a common theme.

I think Dez Bryant will be solid in this one, I’d play him in fantasy for sure – but the Cowboys just aren’t deep enough at receiver to lose a guy like Miles Austin and not suffer a hit offensively. He’s a really good receiver, the best guy they have – and trading him for Laurent Robinson isn’t good for that team – and Robinson isn’t terrible. They are not the Packers’ receiver corps, that’s for sure.

The Cowboys should run it a ton if they know what’s good for them – but I see Buffalo running it a lot as well. The Cowboys gave up a ton of yards to the Seahawks terrible ground attack last week, that might give the Bills an opening. It comes down to thinking the Bills are better than Dallas and believing it will be close. Points and the better team? I’ll take that bet.
