Toledo Rockets @ Syracuse Orange College Football Prediction

Toledo Rockets @ Syracuse Orange College Football Prediction: After almost beating Ohio State, the Toledo Rockets got a little too much love last week against Boise State, which brought the line down to 20.5 points, which brought me to picking the Broncos, which gave me one of my 8 wins in Week 3. Love it! All that being said, the destruction at the hands of the Broncos probably unfairly brought the book’s opinion of Toledo down a couple notches (points) in the ol’ spread department. I have to like them being any kind of a dog against a blah-Syracuse squad that has given up their fair share of points this season.

The two games Syracuse has won this season were against a poor Wake Forest team (and they needed overtime to get that done) and a Rhode Island team that, quite frankly, has a tough time of it most of the time. They were 27 point favorites against Rhode Island and won by a single touchdown after getting outrushed by nearly 100 yards.

I know Ohio State isn’t what Ohio State used to be, but they are still a very talented football team with a lot of studs and Toledo hung with them pretty well. Boise can make anyone look bad, so discount that game right now.
Toledo can really throw the football, they have multiple athletes that do very good things for their offense. They are better defensively than they get credit for – I think Toledo probably wins this one by a couple scores.
