Tennessee Titans @ Jacksonville Jaguars Free Football Pick

Tennessee Titans @ Jacksonville Jaguars Free Football Pick: Is this the AFC’s version of the NFC West? It’s getting close. With Manning out for what looks like the first few weeks, the Colts’ playoff chances are certainly on some form of life support. The Titans are going with Matt Hasselbeck and a new coach that, I’m sorry to say, can’t possibly be as good as Jeff Fisher was. They have Chris Johnson, but that’s not much more than the Jaguars can boast, because they have Maurice Jones-Drew. And like the Titans, that’s about it.
If you can tell me the Jaguars starting wide receivers then you are either a fantasy junky or a Jaguars fan. Since there are only 17 Jaguars’ fans, I’m guessing that you’re a fantasy junky.
To my credit, I picked the Jaguars early in the week when David Garrard was still their starting quarterback and they weren’t cutting the guy a handful of days before their first game of the season. That has to be an interesting feel in the locker room. I wouldn’t take the Jags in this game now – but since I made the pick in my newsletter, I have to stick with it.
This is why I picked them. They usually win in Week 1, they will have a better rushing attack this year. They are playing at home. They play well in their own division. I thought the two teams were basically a wash, and being at home, the Jags got the nod. Now, I’m not so sure. But I’ll stick to my guns and hope for the best!
