San Diego Chargers @ New England Patriots NFL Free Pick

The Patriots did some amazing things last week, definitely. Tom Brady was downright filthy in running the show, he looked to be playing a different game than everyone else. Tossing for 500 yards is no joking matter, but hey, they did keep throwing it and throwing it late into the game. That being said, through all that amazing offensiveness, the Patriots were still in a close game with the Miami Dolphins for goodness sake. Playing dang near perfect they were awfully even with a mediocre Miami team. I don’t think San Diego will be the same situation – the Chargers are good enough to beat the Pats, and I’m kind of betting on New England not playing quite as well offensively in Week 2 – you can’t be perfect every week, unless your Tom Brady I guess… dang. Still, 7 is a lot – I have a feeling that Vegas is going to have big spreads in Patriot games this season.
