Philadelphia Eagles @ Atlanta Falcons Sunday Night Football Pick

What a great Sunday Night football game – it’s no wonder why Sunday Night Football has walked right by Monday Night Football in the ratings department – when NBC pulls Philly-Atlanta and Monday gets a mediocre Rams team going against a beat up Giants team, it’s no contest. But about this game, the Falcons are better than they showed last week, and I think they’re a really tough match-up for the Eagles. The Falcons have a couple good pass rushers and a couple very good corners – plus enough up front to slow the Run and maybe enough speed to keep Vick in their sights? The big picking point for me in this game is the Rams running game against the Eagles’ run defense. If the Falcons know what’s good for them they’ll run the ball 35 times, dominate time of possession, and stay more consistent than the Eagles. If they try to throw it around the field, well, then I’ll just accept my loss of funds.
