Chicago Bears @ New Orleans Saints NFL Free Pick

Chicago Bears @ New Orleans Saints NFL Free Pick: Chicago’s a pretty darn good football team, remember, they lasted longer than the Saints last season, and defensively they bring a little more shut-down than New Orleans. I know Drew Brees and company are coming off a tough outing in Week 1, and they should be ready to rebound, but I’ve always said, a good football team getting a touchdown is too good to pass up.

The Bears made me some money last week as they were big time dogs in Atlanta. It’s always exciting to get lots of points, betting on a good football team, especially when the team they’re playing is overrated. That was last week, this week, I’m not so sure the Saints are overrated.

New Orleans is going to put pressure on the Bears, but right now Chicago’s offense line looks much improved from yester year, and if they get some hats blocked, Jay Cutler has the stuff to make them pay, even if his top receiver is Roy Williams. (PS, don’t tell the Bears, but they probably have 3 guys better at WR than Williams – silly Rabbits).

Matt Forte is still playing at a high level, and it seems that Jay Cutler watched some film or something, because last week he finally caught on to free yards in dumping down to Forte out of the backfield.
New Orleans is talented, but 7 points is a lot, and Chicago’s defense is healthy and up to the task of limiting the Saints’ O.
