Boise State Broncos @ Toledo Rockets Friday Night Football Pick

Boise State Broncos @ Toledo Rockets Friday Night Football Pick: Toledo barely lost to Ohio State on the road in Week 2 after putting up 58 points in Week 1 – this team can really throw the football. That being said, I don’t think they are amazing defensively, and the Broncos should put plenty of points on the Rockets. Last year the Broncos hosted the Rockets and put up a 57-14 clinic – could this year be the same?

Boise State isn’t always an auto-bet for me, though the way they’ve been slamming spreads over the last few years, you’d think they’d be a great option week in and week out. I think Toledo poses a little bit of a problem because they can really throw the ball around and last week they showed that they can play with a pretty athletic Ohio State team. Still, the Broncos don’t have a starting team suspended, and I think they can take advantage of some holes in Toledo’s secondary – they’re just too smart.

I never think the Broncos are good value, but they often bust the spread anyway. I’ll take them again, on the road, giving 20 points, on a weekday. I’m nuts.
