Auburn Tigers @ Clemson Tigers NCAA Football Pick: The Tigers are bound to lose here. No, but seriously, stick with me. Sure, both teams are Tigers, but the Auburn Tigers are the team everybody knows, the real Tigers, if you will. But Clemson is underrated, strong up front, and Auburn is bound to lose because they keep trying to escape destiny. So far they have, but as we’ve seen in all twelve “Final Destination” movies, dodging death is tough. Auburn is a small dog on the road, but everyone loves them here. Don’t fall in love, they’re bound to lose this one.

The Tigers probably should have lost both of their first two games, barely beating Utah State in week 1, and the slid out of Mississippi with a barely win in Week 2. They hvaen’t played good yet, and they’re still winning football games – so that’s nice – but that 9-lives-cat stuff only goes so far.

Clemson had their own trouble last week against Wofford, which is frightening, and makes this pick a little suspect, I know. That being said, this one fits in my “lower ranked team favored” stratagem, so I have to go for it unless I’m all over the other side. I’m not, Auburn’s due, the other Tigers win.
