If you can outplay Boise, you’re good. They ranked 2nd in total yards, 4th in rushing offense, and 5th in points scored with 42+ per game. Colin Kaepernick is one of the best pistol quarterbacks in college football, as his three consecutive seasons of 2000+ passing yards and 1100+ rushing yards show. He’s thrown for 19 ore more touchdowns in each of his 4 seasons at Nevada, and he’s rushed for 16, 17, and 20 touchdowns over the last three seasons. He’s very good, and so is this Nevada team.

But Boston College matches up well against the ground attack from Nevada. No team in college football was better against the run than BC. They ranked #1 giving up just 72.7 yards per game on the ground, and they finished in the Top 20 in both total yards allowed (11th) and points allowed (18th). The question will be, can they stop one of the best around?

Nevada throws it a lot better than the Eagles, and while it’s a little closer on the ground, it still isn’t that close. Boston College has the better defense, and that run-d/run-o match-up that might just keep this one close enough.
