Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pick-Ups: Week 16s Waiver Wire Warriors

Here are some guys I suggested picking up that had nice days Ryan Torain (100+ total yards and a touchdown, PPR bonus 5 catches), Jon Kitna (305 yards, 2 touchdowns), Vincent Jackson (single-handily won people fantasy semi-finals with his 3 touchdowns) – and then there was Daniels (4 for 45 yards, so-so), Dixon (33 yards rushing, no score), and Sidney Rice (not enough to win me my fantasy league). But overall, I’d say I had to help the majority there. Why stop at Week 15? The Fantasy Finals are usually in Week 16 – so here goes nothing…

Papa wants to answer your questions, send them to PAPAWEIMER50@hotmail.com – he’ll answer and if it’s good (or if he gets off his lazy rump to copy and paste the interaction), post your stuff in his weekly “Ask Papa Weimer” spot. Here goes Waiver Wire Warriors for Week 16.

(Our WWW pick-ups are limited to guys owned in under 50%. Each writer ranks their Top 6. I’m also going to give you my “Pull The Trigger” area for guys that are obvious pick-ups and still owned in less than 70% of fantasy leagues. And there’s going to be an area called “End It Already” for guys that I consider drop-worthy, or try to trade now-worthy, regardless of their %-Owned.)

Pull The Trigger

Tashard Choice- (43% owned): Nice match-up with Arizona’s terrible D, and he’ll get some more carries because they’ll be near said goal line more than a few times.

Jon Kitna – (37% owned): 30, 29, 17, 16, 18 (and in Week 15, 26pts) and now the Cardinals come to town – sign me up!

Anthony Armstrong (3% Owned): Another strong game for Armstrong, and Rexxy seems to like him so he could get more looks from here on out. Jacksonville = questionable secondary.

Andre Caldwell (.1% Owned): In for TO and I’ve always thought he was a solid player – the Bengals will keep attacking even with nothing to play fore. I think he’s good for 10-15 fantasy points in PPR.

Anthony Dixon (9% Owned): He’s getting more carries than Westy, and he’s hardly owned, and he’ll get more touches this week because they won’t be down four touchdowns ever.

Maurice Morris (5% Owned): I know his match-up isn’t lovable, but he’s been running it well when given the chance, and he might be a great fill in for you if you need some help.

Vincent Jackson (68% owned): A little obvious, isn’t it?

Rex Grossman (.3% owned): Rexxy’s 32 fantasy point finished behind only Michael Vick for Week 15′s quarterback rankings. His 4 touchdowns were twice as many as McNabb’s best passing day this season. He goes up against the Jaguars secondary – shoot – I’ve seen crazy things, but how sweet would it be to win a fantasy title with Rex Grossman as your starting QB? That’s like a 2-7 poker hand, folks, do it!!!

End It Already – Anybody you’re not starting in the finals. Don’t feel bad to dump a guy that’s been there all year if you need to pick-up a key cog for the championship. It’s not time to wait!!!

A couple guys WE think should be owned in ALL LEAGUES….

Jonathan Stewart (74%) Pierre Thomas (71%) Vincent Jackson (62%) Mike Williams (SEA) (66%)
