Seattle Seahawks @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers NFL Betting Preview

Seattle Seahawks @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers NFL Betting Preview: I know the Bucs are all but a miracle from making it to the playoffs, where all Seattle has to do is win out, and they will have a decent chance to end up making it even if they don’t win out, but the Bucs are just flat out a better team than Seattle. They never look disgusting where the Seagulls look like a JV squad every other game. The Bucs stay close with good opponents; the Seahawks get blasted by mediocre teams. The Bucs hold their own on the road, the Hawks are 2-5 away from one of the biggest home field advantages in the NFL. Did I mention the Hawks aren’t very good?

Listen, Seattle’s defense actually played pretty well last week, aside from a couple breakdowns and an entire game’s worth of terrible field position and tough luck on short yardage. I think the Hawks’ defense will hang in there against the Buccos, but in the end Tampa will have to win out. They can throw it when it matters, and they can run it, too. They may be just 1-3 over their last 4 games, a record run that will probably keep them out of the playoffs, but close losses to Baltimore and Atlanta are nothing to look down upon, and a loss in overtime to Detroit is a definite killer, but the Lions are no slouch, either.

Tampa has improved in their running game, and they still have too many weapons in the passing game not to take advantage of Seattle’s problems in the secondary. Mike Williams should have a big day, as nobody in Seattle’s secondary can stay with the youngster.
