Oklahoma Sooners @ Nebraska Cornhuskers Free NCAA Football Pick

Oklahoma Sooners @ Nebraska Cornhuskers Free NCAA Football Pick: Nebraska absolutely has not been the same lately, and Oklahoma is too good to go up against and beat when you’re sitting at half mast. Landry Jones and company are in it to win it, and the young quarterback is feeling it – helping his Sooners out-gun the Oklahoma State Cowboys in a big time Red-River-Rivalry game last week.

Why haven’t the Cornhuskers been on the top of their game? Well, probably because Bo Polini is nuts and maybe even more importantly, freshman quarterback sensation, Taylor Martinez, has had a tough time staying healthy, missing last week’s win over Colorado and getting pulled from the team’s 6-9 loss at Texas A&M. I know that Cody Gren has thrown the ball alright, and Zac Lee has run the ball pretty well, and even Rex Burkhead has been a positive player taking snaps in the famous wildcat formation – but without their best athlete running the ball in full health at quarterback, the all-to-impressive Sooners offense might end up being too much for the Cornhuskers to compete with.

I know Nebraska can run it – outside of their surprise loss to Texas back in mid-October, they’ve out-rushed every team they’ve played. I know Oklahoma can get their stellar athletes in space on the edge with the run and even more so through the air with the pass.

I think that passing offense will be too much for the Cornhuskers when it’s all said and done.

#9 Oklahoma Sooners (-4.5) @ #13 Nebraska Cornhuskers*
