Sunday NFL Betting Pick New York Giants @ Green Bay Packers

Sunday NFL Betting Pick New York Giants @ Green Bay Packers: I’m just never really impressed with the Giants unless they are running the ball twice as much as they’re passing it. Last week’s loss has to kill their forward momentum. They had won 3 straight coming in, and played pretty efficient run-first football in at least two of those games – they were even up big on the Eagles and counting their 10th win early in the 3rd quarter – but then Michael Vick happened, and the Giants go into Green Bay in a must-win situation. From this point of view, it’s not looking good for Tom Coughlin and the G-men.

The Packers may not have much of a running game, but they are good in every other facet of football. They don’t stop the run like the Steelers, but they are still very solid up front, and BJ Raji is playing great for them. They have a very good secondary that will pick on Eli Manning’s winter mistakes if he keeps making them – and 20 interceptions this season say he will. With Aaron Rodgers back, the offense will be at full strength. He’s one heck of a player and he should be excited to get back on the field after watching Matt Flynn do good things in his absence.

The Giants have been good on the road, but the Packers at 5-1 in Lambeu get the nod here. I not only think they are the better team, but they are at home and going up against a team that just got their heart ripped out with a spoon last week against the Eagles. I like my chances.
