Nevada Wolf Pack @ Louisiana Tech Bulldogs Free Football Picks: I love betting against teams that are coming off of huge victories. It’s almost always a success, and that’s why I was dying to bet on the Bulldogs when I started my research. I even locked them in by “bolding” their name, and throwing the spread on their half. But after my research, I’m back on the Wolf Pack in a scary game to take them, because of all the concerns I have with teams coming off of huge wins.

The only thing on the Bulldogs’ side is their ability to run the football. Over the last 7 games, they’ve out-rushed all but 1 of their opponents, finishing with more yards on the ground than Boise State, Utah State, or Hawaii. They can really move the ball, and that’s a concern for sure.

But I don’t think the Wolf Pack will take them lightly, and I actually think Nevada getting over that big fat Boise State hump will do more good than harm for their football program. They also come in looking better against every common opponent these two teams have – except maybe Utah State. Louisiana Tech is a solid team, but Nevada is very good. If they didn’t stumble in a tough place to play (Hawaii) they would be undefeated with a win over Boise State, and they would be getting BCS looks right now. They are good, good enough to look past one of my biggest rules. I think they win by double digits pretty easily.
