Florida State Seminoles @ Virginia Tech Hokies Prediction: I love what the Hokies have done since falling out of the Top 25 after dropping their first game to Boise State and their second game of the year to little school power, James Madison. If that lost to James Madison was the low point for the Hokies, and how could it not be, the high point has to be this game. Virginia Tech has won with defense, passing, running, and special teams since their well known loss in Week 2, and a win against the Seminoles in the ACC Finals would send them exactly where they wanted to go when they started the season, a BCS Bowl Game.

But Florida State has gone through similar success, finishing the regular season with a 9-3 record and they seem to be putting it all together at the right time.

For the record, I think Virginia Tech is the better team, they played an awesome Boise State team down to the wire, and outside of their loss to James Madison and their 7 point win over Georgia Tech a month ago, the Hokies have won every other game by at least two touchdowns. They have a plethora of offensive weapons and a defense right there with Virginia Tech’s as one of the best in the ACC.

But this game is going to be close, it’ll come down to last minute drives in each half and I just have a feeling those 4 points could really come in handy. In a close one, I’ll take the points.
