Dallas Cowboys @ Indianapolis Colts NFL Week 13 Free Picks

Dallas Cowboys @ Indianapolis Colts NFL Week 13 Free Picks: Me and 35% if the public like the Colts to do work and snap their losing streak before it actually becomes a streak (got to be at least 3 games to be a streak, right? I’m not sure of the proper “streak” rules, but usually two is just two in a row, and streak becomes streak when that R meets up with steak, and the R comes for thRee, right?) bit if they lost this one, it would undoubtedly be a losing streak, and it might just send them to .500 headed into Week 14 for the first time since I can remember. Or at least the first time since Peyton went from rookie QB to All-Pro (and that was a pretty quick transition if I remember correctly).

I know the Cowboys have played well and the Colts have played poorly, but I think this is a pretty good match-up for the old Colts – they don’t need to find success on the ground to beat the Boys. Dallas stops the run well, but they’re not so brilliant against the pass (they’ve actually been out-gained through the air in each of their last 4 games. Indy isn’t as terrible stopping the run as they get flack for, but they aren’t great, so if Dallas can find some success with Felix Jones and Tashard Choice (Barber looks to be out this week) then they’ll be that much closer to making me wrong.

But I don’t think Peyton will have a repeat performance of last week – and more reasonably, I don’t think his receivers will drop as many passes as they did last week.

Dallas has played well, but they are still a couple steps away from being a good football team – this line is about 2 points lower than it should be, and I’ll take that value with Indy at home.
