Buffalo Bills @ Miami Dolphins Free Football Pick

Buffalo Bills @ Miami Dolphins Free Football Pick: At 3-10, I’m a surprisingly big fan of the Buffalo Bills. It would surprise me none if this team finds the playoffs in the next two seasons. They are a couple offensive and defensive linemen away, and Chan Gailey’s guys respond well to him, he’s a good coach.

Already, the Bills seem to be improving offensively under the offensive-guru. Gailey has always been a good coordinator with the run, and Buffalo has become a much better rushing team as the season has moved forward. But it’s Buffalo’s air attack that has been more of a surprise. Ryan Fitzpatrick took over for Trent Edwards, and just like that the Bills became respectable. Fitzpatrick has been a little mistake prone, as balls will sail on him from time to time – but he gives his guys chances to make plays, and he’s thrown 21 touchdown passes already this season. I’m sure that’s the most since ol’ Drew Bledsoe back in the day (editor’s note; Drew tossed 24 back in 2002, his most as a Buffalo Bill, 1 point for Lucky). That threat has opened up things for this offense, and while young defensively, they can make plays.

The Dolphins are 7-6 and still in some kind of race. You never know, they could win out and get to 10-6 and that might be enough. But first and foremost, I think they have trouble with the Bills. The way Miami’s offense is puttering along and how solid they are defensively, I expect a close one. Five and a half points might be just enough!
