Philadelphia Eagles @ Washington Redskins Monday Night Football Pick: The Mike Vick-Eagles are just too good to bet against, in my opinion. With the speed that team has on the edges with DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin, and in the backfield with LeSean McCoy and Vick, they are just impossible to match up with. A lot of that reason is Vick, only not with his legs like many people think, with that laser shooter he has for an arm. Vick can buy enough time with his legs in the pocket for those receivers to get open. At that point it’s just flick the wrist and fire a missile down the field. It’s really impressive to watch, and it gives the Eagles the ability to score from anywhere. Vick has been very accurate and very poised in the pocket. The threat he poses to opposing defenses makes every team prepare differently for the Eagles.

The Redskins have been up and down defensively, and while DeAngelo Hall has made some noise with his 4-interception game, and a couple more big plays, he’s also a guy that can get beat for big plays – it happens more often than you’d think. With a healthy Maclin, a healthy Jackson, and Vick running the point, this fast break Eagles’ offense is the NFL’s version of the Ducks – they can really score in a hurry.

Washington has some things to deal with right now – with the Donovan McNabb situation and what kind of team they’re going to be. They just don’t have the consistency on offense for me to see them as a value, even getting three points at home. The Eagles already lost one to their old buddy, and I don’t see them losing twice in a row to McNabb and the Redskins. A split is always more likely, especially when the Redskins played so poorly and won anyway a few weeks ago. I think the Eagles hand the Redskins one of their worst losses of the season.
