NFL Week 12 Free Picks Jacksonville Jaguars @ New York Giants

NFL Week 12 Free Picks Jacksonville Jaguars @ New York Giants: I don’t think much of the Jaguars, but maybe I should give them a little credit – they’ve been able to beat some decent teams of late. No, I think I’ll just continue to not like them and give them as little credit as possible. That being said, they played better defensively last week, and their offensive line looked stronger in the run game. But Maurice Jones-Drew slipped a short pass for about 1/3 of the team’s receiving yards late in the 4th quarter and the Jaguars gave up 6 turnovers – gross – but they still won.

But I’m taking the Jaguars because of the Giants, not really because of the Jaguars. New York has been a streaky team under Tom Coughlin, probably because his face is so red and rodent-like, but who really knows why. Eli plays his worst football in the cold months, and the poor guy is forced to play outdoors in New York. Maybe that’s why he is always making that stupid pouty face.

The Giants have lost two straight, and they haven’t looked very good in either. The Eagles nearly out rushed and out passed them by 100 yards in each direction. The rushing attack has been pretty non-existent, almost doing more harm than good with fumblitas issues. And now they are missing their top two receivers and a guy that started the season as the #4.

The Jaguars aren’t real good, but the way the Giants have been playing, they won’t have to be. Run it a little, pass it here and there, catch the ball when Eli throws it to you – cover a big spread. There it is, a recipe for Sunday.
