NFL Week 11 Picks Oakland Raiders @ Pittsburgh Steelers: The Raiders have struggled when they lost the rushing battle, and going up against the Steelers’ defense, a defense that’s awesome against the run and coming off an embarrassing game where New England moved them up and down the field like a lawnmower, I expect Oakland to lose the rushing battle. I know they’ve been solid against just about everyone, but the Steelers are a different beast on the ground.

This game just comes down to the Steelers ability to turn it around after getting smacked in the mouth. Great teams, ala the Patriots last week, take that punch, get up off the mat, and bring it the next week. The Steelers have a chance to do that against a Raider team that has great momentum coming in – 3 straight wins, two against their conference, and for the first time in a long time, the Raiders rest a game above .500 halfway through the season. They’ve had an extra week to prepare for Pittsburgh as they had a Bye in Week 10. That could get them healthy again or slow their momentum – but whatever happens, this game is up to Pittsburgh. If they play their best, stuff the run and pound it offensively, they could beat up the Raiders. If not, well, I’ll be wrong and Pittsburgh will have a battle on their hands.

The Steelers should be one team that can shut down the Raiders’ rushing attack – and without that, all they are is Jason Campbell. The former Redskins’ signal caller has been better of late, but the game riding on him is probably not what the Raiders are looking for. Steelers win this one by double digits.
