Detroit Lions @ Dallas Cowboys Point Spread Betting Odds: I don’t get it. I know Dallas finally won a game, but believe me, all of their problems aren’t solved. It’s just a game, and I fully expect them to lay an egg one of these upcoming weeks. Another thing… Detroit isn’t bad. Their record isn’t great, and maybe Dallas should beat them, but Detroit isn’t bad. They have some very talented skill position players, a decent offensive line, and defensively they can do some things – they’re talented.
On the defensive line they are a heck of a lot better than they played last week against Buffalo. They are young, that’s for sure, and they are streaky, but they can give the Cowboys trouble in a big game for them. Visiting Dallas is always big, and the Cowboys will get the Lions’ best.
The root of this all is that Dallas is getting a line based off of what looks like just one football game. Gone is the beat-down at the hands of Jacksonville, gone is the 2-7 record – but here is the Cowboys 1-0 (UNDEFEATED) football team under new coach Jason Garrett. The team that killed the Giants in New York. Come on, give us a little more credit than that, Vegas. Right? Right… Nope, the public likes the Cowboys giving a touchdown. Unreal. That’s robbery Joe Public, why can’t you see that?
Detroit stumbles, losing to the formerly win less Bills in Buffalo. The Cowboys beat the Giants – and the spread we get is close to what we would have seen on opening day. Gross. Take the value love on Detroit.
