NFL Week 11 Free Picks Chicago Bears @ Miami Dolphins

NFL Week 11 Free Picks Chicago Bears @ Miami Dolphins: Baltimore, Pittsburgh, New England, and the New York Jets. All projected playoffs teams with winning records, those are the only teams the Dolphins have lost to. They’ve beaten Tennessee, Cincinnati, Green Bay, Minnesota, and Buffalo. The Dolphins are playing at home. They are a strong rushing team. This is their game to lose, even with their 3rd string quarterback running the show.

In fact, just for the record, I actually completely respect Tyler Thigpen, and I’ve thought for a while that he might be the team’s best option at quarterback. He moves very well and he makes plays through the air. He likes safer throws, aiming for his big TE more often than not, but he’s a solid player that isn’t afraid and should run what the Dolphins have very well. Most people expect Miami to run a lot of the Wildcat with their 3rd stringer in there, but I wouldn’t be so sure. Thigpen really runs well, and if he can pose a threat on the ground, that could open up things in a lot of different directions.

Miami’s defense is much better than anybody gives them credit for, no matter how many times I say it. They should make life tough on Jay Cutler (but then again, big deal, look at his pouty face, obviously life is tough on him all the time). Take the Dolphins, they have some great value on their side at home against the blah-Bears.

Bowling Green Falcons @ Toledo Rockets Week 12 College Football Pick

Bowling Green Falcons @ Toledo Rockets Week 12 College Football Pick: If both the dogs get taken to the pound on Wednesday Night, my college football betting start won’t be what I hoped it would. I took the 0-10 Akron Zips to start the night, so why not continue my risky gambling maneuvers by rocking the 2-8 Falcons playing on the road mid-week? It seems as though everyone *81% of the public anyway* likes the Rockets to get to 7-4 and easily cover at home against the Falcons, but without their #1 QB and against a Bowling green team that has found a way to play close games more often than not – I’m not so sure. In fact, I’m on the other side.

Toledo may be 3-1 in their last 4 games, but they are just 2-4 ATS in their last 6, and that’s telling. They haven’t been able to expose the teams they should be beating up, and while they are still winning, a team like Bowling Green seems to have a chance at the upset.

The Falcons give up 9 points more per game than they score – not too shabby for a bad small college team with a 2-8 record. Toledo comes in giving up about 4 more points per game than they score – for a 6-4 team, maybe it’s time those numbers start to even out.

If Bowling Green can cut out their foot-shooting mistakes, they’ll cover his one easily. Wednesday Night games are crazy, you know that if you’ve followed a few – and the Falcons are looking to keep that trend going.

Miami Ohio Redhawks @ Akron Zips NCAA Football Week 12 Picks

Miami Ohio Redhawks @ Akron Zips NCAA Football Week 12 Picks: The Zips have had two weeks off to prepare for this game, and I must say, there’s a lot on the line here. Akron is without a victory so far this season, and Miami-Ohio comes in winners of 2 straight, and a 6-4 record. That’s right, 0-10 hosting 6-4 and here I am putting my hard earned (relatively) money on the win-less home team. I think these teams are more similar, right now, than most people are led to believe – plus, the Zips have that whole “haven’t won a game yet this year and if we don’t win one soon we aren’t going to win at all” thing going on – and let me tell you, that can really push a team. Win-less is scary, and fear will push you to do some out of the ordinary things – and out of the ordinary for the Zips is playing well enough to win.

Miami-Ohio has 4 wins this season and only one of them was by more than 7 points. It’s not like their schedule has been tougher than the Zips, and it’s not like the teams they’ve beaten have been good.

I know Miami is better than Akron, but it’s closer than you’d think, and the Redhawks have had trouble finishing their opponents off. If Akron can just hang around long enough to believe, they might just win, and they should cover.
